Create A New Connection in Connection Manager Using A Different Account

Issue

When logged in to SharePoint Online as user A and Creating a connection in connection manager with a different account details, such as a service account. The connection is still created as user A

 

Resolution

Log in to SharePoint Online as the service account and create the new connection 

 

Additional Information

This issue can occur when using single sign on for Office 365
