Defining allowed file types in the Attachment or File Upload control in Nintex Forms for Office 365.

 

Instructions

 

Classic and Responsive Forms:

1. Open the configuration for the Attachment control.

2. Under 'Validation', locate the 'Allowed file formats'.

3. Add the desired file types in the (place each on a separate line).

Example:

xlsm
pdf

docx

4. Save the configuration.

 

New Responsive Forms:

1. Open the configuration for the File Upload control.

2. Under 'Accepted file types', check the box for 'Custom'.

3. Add the desired file types in the 'Define custom file types' field.

Example:

xlsm, pdf, docx

4. Configuration automatically saves.
