Code Fix: Unable to use a K2 license key that has validity past 2022

Issue Description

When you have the K2 blackpearl (4.7) April 2022 Cumulative update installed and you reconfigure your environment using the K2 blackpearl and K2 smartforms setup managers, and you attempt to update your  license key to a license beyond December 2022, it cuts off the license key and gives an error.

Error

The following error occurs: “Invalid license key”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

 

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
