Issue

This occurs when using the SmartObject URM Service Instance on Method > Get Users By Names.

 

When executing the SmartObject using the SmartObject service tester, the following error is displayed:
"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, Position 1. "

Symptoms

The URM  Service Instance > Get Users By Names method will fail due to the incorrect XML format used.

Resolution

Should the "Get Users By Names" method be required to return multiple Users, the input property needs to be as follows:

 

 

XML format e.g.

<names><name>K2:domainusername</name><name>K2:domainusername</name></names>
