DocuSign is deprecating its basic authentication methods:

Legacy Authentication and Send-On-Behalf-Of (SOBO).

These authentication methods are currently available with the integration of Nintex DocGen for Salesforce and DocuSign for Salesforce (DocuSign’s Legacy Salesforce app). These authentication methods will be deprecated on January 31st, 2025.

To continue using this DocuSign (Legacy) integration in Nintex DocGen for Salesforce, you must switch to one of the following authentication methods:

OAuth—Admin Consent or OAuth—Individual Consent.

This article covers OAuth-Admin Consent.

If you have already integrated Nintex DocGen for Salesforce with the new DocuSign Apps Launcher, this does not apply to you. However, both the DocuSign Apps Launcher and DocuSign (Legacy) integrations can be run side-by-side as you migrate each package over at your own speed.

The following video provides guidance on how to start using OAuth—Admin Consent with DocuSign (Legacy) integration with Nintex DocGen for Salesforce.
