How to add SFTP as a storage or delivery option.

 

Instructions

  1. In Salesforce, navigate to Setup > Create > Objects.
  2. Locate Delivery Option > Store As.
  3. Under Picklist Values, click New.
  4. Type the word "SFTP".
  5. Check all checkboxes.
  6. Click save.

 

 

Notes

Due to FedRAMP restrictions, we currently don't allow outbound traffic from our service to dynamically configured sources. This means that any delivery option that attempts to connect outside of Salesforce will not work. This integration would need to be built from the user side.
