Would I be able to install .Net Core 7 on the Nintex Automation On-Prem 5.6 server to run additional web applications?    The matrix only mentions .NET 6.0.

Similarly I’d like to use .NET 8 in 2024.   Or does it not matter because .NET core is installed side-by-side?

I think you can install different versions of .NET Core / .NET side by side. The same way I have it now on a server that was upgraded sequentially from K2 Five 5.3 > 5.4 > 5.5 > 5.6, there are .NET Core 2.1.x, .NET Core 3.1.x and .NET 6.0 installed. I could probably uninstall the old ones, but who would bother with that.
