Your Promaster is your first line of support for your Process Manager system, as they have system administrator access and the rights to view and edit all areas of your Process Manager site.

Some things your Promaster can help you with:

  • Creating new users
  • Setting access privileges
  • Configuring system security settings
  • Managing roles and responsibilities
  • Resetting passwords
  • Creating new process groups
  • Renaming process groups
  • Adding and adjusting systems, glossary terms, and tags
  • Managing stakeholders
  • Configuring the system
  • Setting branding
  • Providing reports
  • Assisting with process development
  • Integrating with Automation Cloud (if available) and Slack
  • Establishing a process council
  • Setting the corporate process dashboard
  • And more


If you do not know who your Promaster is, Process Manager makes it very easy to contact them. In the upper right-hand corner, click Help > Contact Promaster. An email will be created addressed to the user listed in the system as Promaster.

As a user of Process Manager, it is important to work through any issues with your Promaster before selecting Help > Contact Support, as your Promaster is your first line of support for the system and should be consulted prior to contacting Nintex Support.
