Skuid for Salesforce migration to Hyperforce

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

We are a Skuid on Salesforce customer and are preparing to migrate to Hyperforce. Has anyone else using skuid on salesforce migrated to Hyperforce? Would appreciate if someone can share their migration experience and any pointers they have for us. Thanks!

Hello,

With a migration to Hyperforce, one key consideration to keep in mind is the connection to external SQL data sources. If your Skuid implementation uses external SQL databases, it will be necessary to upgrade to version 16.8.0 or later to ensure continued functionality.

We strongly recommend that any upgrades be performed first in a non-production environment, followed by thorough testing, before proceeding with the production environment.

You can find the release notes for the latest versions here: Skuid Release Notes.

Thanks again and good luck with your migration!

Clark

@Clark_Cregg  Thanks for the prompt reply! I am not certain if we are using external SQL Databases. Will you please elaborate a bit more on this OR how I could verify this?

Is it one of the Data Source for the Model on a skuid page? See screenshot below.

@jbhatnagar -- Based on the options that I am seeing in that list, it does not appear that there are any SQL datasources configured in your Skuid implementation. You could also check under the Data Sources tab in the Skuid Administration UI to confirm if there are any configured.
