I have a folder with 4 sub-folders

and when im trying to get the excel file from within those folders it gives also files that are not exist.

it gives me files with different name (excel but in another folder and not one of the sub-folders)

Hi. When you use copy from excel and point to that file, and use the "error handling", what error do you get? Is by any chance the subfolder "read-only"?

Last but not least: did you check the box "include subfolders"?

Please show your AC so i can try and see what's wrong. Thanks!

I'm not using copy, only the AC "get files"

and im using the include subfolder (and its not read-only)

which version - i just checked on my end and the command works fine (20.9)

it showed me files that not exist (with this ~ in the name)

and I know its not there so I tries to kill the excel process but it didnt helped

Can it be hidden files? You are invited to consult with our support team to investigate this further 🙂

files with ~ are hidden Office files (excel or Word or Powerpoint) whitch meens that the file are open by somebody or crashed and not saved properly

Are you sure that the excel is closed?

To let Kryon grab or show you the file it cant be "busy" so needs to be closed.

yeah I'm it's closed

I even open the task manager to close it...

but never mind - I used an IF command to check if there is a ~ in the name...

if so go to the next file...

happy you managed!
