I downloaded Skuid Edinburgh Update into my sandbox and am trying to recreate our skuid page using the more up-to-date version. However, some components on the previous version we have (Boston 13.0.7.0) are missing in version 16.1.8.0. For example, there is no “template” or “Field Editor” components in the new version. I am attaching a screen shot of our old vs. new component list. What am I missing?

Hey @BattyMom, welcome back to the Skuid community!

In the new Skuid API version (v2) some components are different:

  • Form is the new Field Editor
  • Text is the new Template

Here are some helpful resources for getting started in v2:

There’s also a migration utility where you can take an old page built in v1 and update it to v2. If you want to take advantage of this, you can copy the page XML from your Boston org and import it into your Edinburgh (16.1.8) org following these instructions: Create and Customize Skuid Pages - Upload XML. Then you can use the migration utility to start the process for you.
