Can the output of process discovery directly be used to create BOTs on uipath or Automation anywhere or blueprism? If so, can you explain what is the output from the process discovery and the format?

Want to have an understanding if Kryon's process discovery can only be used by Kryon's RPA or any other RPA in the market? m

Hi,

Kryon Process Discovery gives several outputs:

  1. Automation File
  2. Process CSV output
  3. Process Word Output
  4. Process BPMN Diagram

For creating bots the Automation File is being used and with Kryon RPA studio is seamless import and automation. However, the PD Automation file is not possible to import to any other Vendor's Studio machine. For that reason the other outputs can be useful, such as the full description of the process in a word file, or BPMN/CSV outputs.

An important factor is that the Automation file is helping to save time for automation as all steps are there with all the user actions and the developer needs only to fine tune the automation.

I hope this answers to your question.

Adding to @Artur Martirosyan answer, Process discovery provides you the framework to discover, measure, and document your processes to streamline your automation efforts and scale it within the organization.

Though the biggest impact on your RPA development will be by having Kryon’s full-cycle automation suite, Process discovery outputs can be exported as a word document with a PDD structure and as a BPMN and CSV format. Utilizing these outputs will enable you to streamline and standardize these parts of the automation process, and provide data-based process documentation which also covers edge-cases and business rules for your AA/BP/UIpath developers to develop.

Thanks both for the answer. When the output of process discovery is ingested by Kryon RPA studio, will all the variations with respect to one process be available or only the variations that are selected be available. For example, if one process has 3 variations with V1 about 35%, V2 about 35% and V3 about 30% of the entire volume of 20. Would only the V1 or V2 or V3 be available or the automation file would encapsulate one standardized process for all the three variations?

On the Process Discovery console, you have the option to download either one variation or select and download all variations. When you select to view all variation you can see that the diagrams are being merged together where you can see the decision points and how the variations are different.

The business analyst working with Process Discovery has full control of the automations variants, and it is possible to choose which variants to download as automation files or other formats.
