I am using a Nintex responsive form and I want to be able to use a default format for the date - like yyyy-MM-dd on input and also on display.
I tried to put “yyyy-MM-dd” on the String Format field and it works only on View, not on Input even if the Apply formatting to input mode is set to Yes.
Any idea how to fix this?
Sounds like a simple trick that I am missing :)

I have tested this functionality and have the same result as you.
To be honest, I don't think this functionality ever worked on input.
I suggest raising this with Nintex Support so that they can check with the developers and confirm whether this is a defect.
