I'm using Classic forms and the users of the form complained they are unable submit the form and getting the error message "The field is invalid" for some of the fields of the form. All fields are single line text boxes. What can be the reason for this?

Yes it was working fine. No validation rules are there for these fields. All the controls are connected to number type Sharepoint list columns. When I remove the connection from the control to the SP list field , the error doesn't pop up.
