Hey folks,

I've noticed an issue in the new responsive forms, where if you export a form that has a lookup field, and import it to another site (usual Dev > Test > Prod scenario), then the lookup control still picks up the URL of the old site. Has anyone else seen this?

Looks like a bug to me, although a workaround is the disconnect the control from the list column, remove the URL from the site path field, then reconnect it.

Hi,

When you look at the configuration of the LookUp control the absolute URL is being used in the configuration of the action.
In the older forms it looks like only the Relative URL is being used unless you specify the Source SharePoint site.
Id say this is more of a feature request than a bug.

@SimonMuntz I'd think so too, if it wasn't that the column is already connected to the Lookup column on export, and there's no way to make the URL relative or absolute when it's connected to the column. When we had lookups in previous form releases the import would automatically pick up the lookup details of the destination site.
