Can NAC communicate or interact with a file share?

Hi
I would imagine not because the file share is typically on a server or workstation on your Local Area Network and those typically cannot be accessed from the Internet and thus cannot be accessed by cloud services like NAC.
You will need to look at something like OneDrive for Business.
