Error Message

I have a form and work flow that has been working fine, It now just started presenting the following error message.

"object refernce not set to an insatnce of an object" see screen shot

It ocures when the submit button is clicked which saves the form data and starts the workflow.

I have had a look at the form and cannot see anything obvious. Could anybody advise as to how I resolve the problem.

Many thanks

Andrew

If you are having trouble determining exactly where the error is occurring, but know it's happening when the Submit button is checked, you can try putting a "show a message" rule after each action and have the message show you what has just executed. That way it might be easier to tell exactly where the rule is breaking.

What rules are involved in the submit button click? Does it call a SmartObject or anything else other than starting the workflow?

Sometimes the log files in the hostserverin folder can provide more insight into errors like this.
