SmartObject Data Access Known Issues
See the SmartBox Data Access Overview topic for more information
Below is a list of SmartObject Data Access Known Issues.
When you attempt to configure Limited Data Access on the current SmartBox Object that is already part of a policy where the current SmartBox Object is excluded, the following error is thrown:
Error 547, Level 16, State 0, Procedure SetSecuredByObjectToNone, Line 49The DELETE statement conflicted with the SAME TABLE REFERENCE constraint "FK_Smartbox_PolicySmartObject_Smartbox_PolicySmartObject". The conflict occurred in database "K2", table "Smartbox.
There is no workaround at this stage. This is scheduled to be addressed in a future update.
When you delete a category with SmartBox Object that is secured by another SmartBox Object, an 'There were problems removing category 'Category Name'and one or more items in it' error is thrown and the secured by SmartBox Object is deleted.
If you want to delete an entire category containing Smartbox SmartObjects that have policies applied, you need to first remove all policies on the SmartObejcts.
When you secure by or extend your policy to SmartBox SmartObjects, Advanced SmartBox SmartObjects should not be visible options in the Secured By and Included SmartBox Object lists.
In the image above, Order Details is an advanced SmartObject and should not be an option.
Data Access does not work on advanced SmartObjects, so do not select an advanced SmartBox SmartObject if you see one.
