How to userProfileLookup w/o userProfileLookup function?!

Forum|alt.badge.img+10

Hi community,

I just found out that there is no userProfileLookup runtime function within NINTEX Forms for o365‌.

So what to do now? Is there any workaround?

BTW: if you also think that this is awful, please vote to get this functionality SOON (request is already two years old, I cannot believe it): userprofilelookup Runtime Function – Customer Feedback for Nintex

Cheers

Agree completely, we need this asap.

You can probably do some level of custom Javascript to query the user profile property (bleh), but the only way i've done it to date is a lookup in the Nintex Workflow (on Create or on Change).

You're now able to use userprofilelookup in Office 365 too. You need to add a permission to the nintex app though, as described here:

https://help.nintex.com/en-US/o365/#o365/O365WorkFlow/Admin/UserProfilesSvc.htm?Highlight=user%20profile

Maybe you give it a try.

Hi Reto,

I'd assume both apps share the permission. Otherwise, the recently introduced lookupFunction userProfileLookup() wouldn't work.

Didn't had time to check it out myself though.

Best regards
