Code Fix: IPC events do not start when a workflow name contains more than 128 characters

Issue Description

When the workflow name used in an IPC event in SharePoint contains more than 128 characters, the IPC event does not start, and an error is logged in the HostServer.log file.

Error Message

The following error is logged in the HostServer.log file: “IPCFailedToStart”.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.3) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.3) FP14 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.3) FP14 to apply the fix.
  4. It is recommended to refresh the browser cache.
