Code Fix: An error occurs when opening a Copy/Move item step after deployment

Issue Description

When deploying a K2 Workflow to another environment and you open a Copy/Move item step for lists or document libraries, an error occurs.

Error Description

The following error occurs: “Missing reference at SmartObjectField. Error: SmartObject”.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.2) FP27 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.2) FP27 to apply the fix.

Considerations

After installing this Fix Pack, on the source environment where you want to deploy the K2 Workflow, delete the steps in broken state for lists or document libraries such as the Copy/Move steps and then reconfigure them.
