Issue

The workflow scheduler is running properly but there are no new instances started for the workflow configured on the workflow schedule.

Error Code

If you check the HostServer logs, you may notice the following error when attempting to start the scheduled workflow:

Error","EventBus","7008","Processing","EventQueueProcessing.ExecuteAssembly","7008 The following error occurred while executing policy for CustomEventInstanceID: 80114 : Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. : 28026 K2:[Domain][Username] does not have permissions to impersonate user [Domain][Username]

Resolution

Ensure that the user indicated in the error message (which should be the user who owns the schedule) is given Impersonate rights from K2 Management > Workflow Server > Server rights.

Additional Information

The user who owns the schedule is the one who created or modified the schedule. If you are unsure who is the owner of the schedule, go to the particular workflow's Process Overview report and under the 'All Instances' list, have a look at the Originator column. This is the user whom K2 is using to start the workflow.
