Code Fix: After configuring a Transfer data rule, dependency checks fail on the rule

KB002854

PRODUCT
K2 Five 5.2
K2 Five (5.2) Fix Pack 7

Issue Description

When you use a Transfer data rule in conjunction with “When a control on a view on a subform raises an event” or “When a view on a subform executes a method” event, and you map a view field from the context browser in the rule configuration, dependency checks fail on the rule.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.2) FP7 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.2) FP7 to apply the fix.
  4. It is recommended to refresh the browser cache.

Considerations

After installing Fix Pack 7, you will have to re-select the view fields in the configure panel for the transfer data rule.
