Resolution
A copy of SourceCode.Workflow.Client.dll found in the K2 installation folder (eg. C:Program FilesK2Bin) was installed to GAC (C:WindowsassemblyGAC_64SourceCode.Workflow.Client4.0.0.0__16a2c5aaaa1b130d) using gacutil.
