List view threshold error when creating items in a folder using Create item in another site action

Issue

When using create item in another site action to create an item inside a specific folder on the list, you get an error that the list view threshold has been exceeded.

Error Code

The attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold enforced by the administrator

Resolution

Check the List view threshold configured for auditors and administrators as that is the threshold impacting this particular action which involves querying the list for folder. 

Additional Information

List view threshold error normally occur only when querying a list and not when writing to the list. But when using this action to create an item inside a folder on the list, the workflow will query the list to check if the folder exist, thereby leading to this threshold error.
