SQL Request Control Drop-Down in View Mode displays incorrect value

Issue

When using the SQL Request Control in Nintex Forms for SharePoint 2013 in the View mode, the drop-down does not display the value that has been assigned at the Form submission, instead the first option in the SQL query is displayed.

 

Resolution

Configure the SQL Request control setting via Nintex Form Designer by set the field Execute in view mode into No.
