Issue

The following error is seen in the Smartobject Services Tester Tool or in Workspace > Management > SmartObjects > Services > Workflow Service or Workflow Reporting Service.

Symptoms

When you try and edit efresh your Workflow Service or Workflow Reporting service, the following error is thrown: "Workflow SO Service: Root element missing."

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in the K2 version 4.7. However if you experience this issue in K2 4.6.10 or 4.6.11 please contact K2 Support and they will be able to provide you with a codefix.
