Issue

When clicking the login button during the migration of Document Packages to a new environment, an error occurs.

Resolution

  1. In Salesforce Setup > Network Access, add these IP ranges in both Orgs:
    UPDATED IPs:
  1.  The Target Org User has been given a "DocGen Admin" permission set and DocGen license.
  2. In Setup > Session Settings, ensure "Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated" and "Lock sessions to the domain in which they were first used" are unchecked.
  3. Ensure that the user account does NOT have a "Single sign-On" permission enabled for either Orgs.
  4. Setup > Connected Apps > Nintex DocGen for Salesforce > Permitted Users: Admin approved users are pre-authorized. Under Manage Profiles, add the applicable Profiles. IP Relaxation: Relax IP Restrictions
  5. Ensure that the source org doesn't have a newer version of DocGen than the destination org.
  6. Ensure that Orgs are not on the same Salesforce Instance. This can be found in Setup > Company Information --- there is a field called 'Instance'
  7. If migrating a large amount of DocGen Packages, please try 1 first, and then smaller groups of 10 or 20 to isolate if there is an issue with a specific DocGen Package

Additional Information

  • If on an older version of the product, please perform this step if able: Click the "Authorize IP Ranges" button on the DDP Admin page from both Orgs.
  • If you are on an older version of the product, click the "Disable Connected App" button on the DocGen Admin > Configuration > Settings page from both Orgs.
  • Ensure that the following critical update is deactivated (may not be applicable) "Remove Instance Names From URLs for Visualforce, Community Builder, Site.com Studio, and Content Files"
