I have a few questions, can a DDP send an email without a having an attachment? Also can you grab an attachment that has been uploaded to a record and send it via email?

Great question, this surprisingly comes up a lot, as of today you need to have an attachment to send an email out via Nintex Document Generation. I've seen customers attach a company logo in cases where they wanted to send out an email without a document.
Yes, we can grab an attachment from one of the records you are running from and either merge it into the document you are generating or keep it separate using 'Separate PDFs' or 'Originals' on the Email delivery option.
