Code Fix: Unable to export a report to Microsoft Excel when the date format is set to dd/M/yyyy

Issue Description

When you open a report from the Smart Starter App and attempt to export the report to Microsoft Excel, an error occurs when the date of the environment is set to dd/M/yyyy.

Error Message

The following error occurs: “The conversion of a varchar data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range value”.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.2) FP20 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.2) FP20 to apply the fix.
  4. Refresh the browser cache.
