Code Fix: An error occurs when executing a SmartObject list method based on an OData Service Instance

KB002904

PRODUCT
K2 Five 5.2
K2 Five (5.2) Fix Pack 13

Issue Description

When you execute a SmartObject list method on a SmartObject generated from an OData Service Instance, a timeout error occurs, and you are unable to change the timeout settings on the OData Service Instance

Error Message

The following error message occurs: “The operation has timed out”.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.2) FP13 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.2) FP13 to apply the fix.
  4. You will now be able to change the timeout setting for the OData Service Instance in K2 Management > Integration > Service Instances.

Considerations

There is no default value for the timeout setting and it must be set in seconds.
