Issue

Unable to start the K2 Configuration Service.

 

Error Code

A fatal error was encountered. The library 'hostpolicy.dll' required to execute the application was not found in '{K2 Installation Folder}SourceCode.Configuration.Api'

 

Resolution

Remove the following files inside {K2 Installation Folder}SourceCode.Configuration.Api folder if they exist:

  • hostfxr.dll
  • Microsoft.AspNetCore.Hosting.WindowsServices.dll
