Code Fix: After upgrading to K2 Five (5.2), data field input is missing in a “Call Subworkflow” step

Issue Description

When you design a workflow in K2 Workflow Designer on K2 Five (5.1) and configure a “Call Subworkflow” step with a data field as an input value, after upgrading to K2 Five (5.2), the data field is no longer there, and the value is now a drop-down with nothing selected.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.2) FP11 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.2) FP11 to apply the fix.
  4. It is recommended to refresh the browser cache.

Considerations

For workflows already in a broken state you will have to configure the “Call Subworkflow” step again.
