Save completed form as "whatever" to local PC?

Many posts about the subject but not a single clear answer?

 

1- can you add a control on the form for user to click and be able to save the form in many format like PDF or Excel or ??

2- can you add a control on the form for user to download the form in ???? format to local PC

3- can you add a control on the form for user to click and export the K2 PDF sql table data for the related record to a PDF file on local PC.

4- any simple work around to extract the sql data from smartopbject?

 

thanks in advance for all the great ideas for such a function that is clearly in high demand.

Yes.  There is a control to save a form as PDF.  It needs to be saved to a SmartObject.

No.  Unless you use rules to first save it as a PDF to a SmartObject and then usethe attachment control to download it.

I don't completely understand the question, but you could use the PDF control to first save the PDF to a SmartObject and then allow th user to access that file from the file attachment control.
