AssureSign: Dynamic Jotblocks on Word document in DocGen send results in error

Issue

When sending a Word document with AssureSign Dynamic Jotblocks out for signature using DocGen, we get an error indicating Connection Failure.

 

Error Code

Connection Failure.

 

Resolution

This most likely is related to the protections level on the Word document.  Print the Word document to a PDF document and send that with your template to route around the Word document security settings.
