Hello,

I am looking to use the Know Your Workflow Script to plan a migration from On-Prem SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online.

Is the "Know Your Workflow" Script supported for SharePoint 2019 as well?

Thanks.

Regards,

Simranjeev

Good day, @simranjeev -

In checking with the SharePoint team, the Know Your Workflow script is supported for SharePoint 2019, however they suggest using Nintex Analytics as a better way to understand where your workflows are. I hope that helps!

@Nintex_Sam Hi Sam,

Thanks for the response.

Just wanted to understand if there are know issues with the Know Your Workflow Script, where using Nintex Analytics would be better? Specifically, I wanted to understand if the output of the KYWF Script is impacted by the "Workflow auto cleanup" timer job, which deletes completed workflow instances after some days (60 days?). Or does the KYWF script gather its data from another place which is not affected by the Workflow auto cleanup job? For our current assessment, we would like to see workflow data upto 1 year in the past.

Regarding Nintex Analytics, could you please point me to some useful resources as I haven't used it so far.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Simranjeev

I've passed along your questions to the Nintex for SharePoint team.  I'll let you know as soon as I hear back.

For Nintex Analytics, please check out this site.
