Can you use EmployeeID instead of email address in the SAML configuration's nameID of the Promapp supported SSO Identity Providers (idps)?
Answer
Yes, you can use EmployeeID instead of email address in your SAML configuration's nameID of our SSO idps. In addition to that, you need to make sure that your Login Name and your Name ID from your IdP match, especially if you have “Sync User details with SSO provider” turned ON. If this is ON and the Name ID is different to the Login Name in Promapp, duplicate users will be created.
You can also use the User Import to update the Login names of the Users in bulk if required.
