Nintex Workflow Does Not Send Emails

ISSUE
Workflows designed with Nintex Workflow for SharePoint do not send out emails even though SharePoint Designer workflows can send email successfully.
ERROR CODE
RESOLUTION
  1. Navigate to Central Administration.
  2. Open System Settings > Configure outgoing e-mail settings.
  3. Note the name of the outbound SMTP server.
  4. Navigate to Nintex Workflow Management > Global Settings.
  5. Update the outbound SMTP server configuration here to match the name of the outbound SMTP server under outgoing e-mail settings.
