I am creating a workflow in O365 and I need to check out the current item that a workflow is running on. What is the difference between the two available Check Out actions? There is one for "Check out item" and there is a second for "Office 365 Check out items".

+8Technically there do the same thing, the only difference :
Check-Out Item:
Runs on your tenant.
O365- Check Out item:
This is an Nintex Live Action
That means that the execution will be done on the Nintex tenant.
From my experience you should avoid Nintex Live Actions whenever possible.
Because there are sometime responsible for huge execution delays in the workflow...
