Error appears when managing workflow rights on K2 Management

PRODUCT
K2 Five
This article was created in response to a support issue logged with K2. The content may include typographical errors and may be revised at any time without notice. This article is not considered official documentation for K2 software and is provided "as is" with no warranties.

Issue

When opening K2 Management > Manage Workflow Rights the following error appears:

"SmartObject property ProcSetID_1 is a required property for selected method List. Value must be set."

Symptoms

This behaviour will occur when installing with Hungarian Regional Settings on K2 (5.0001.1000.1).

Resolution

Please use the following workaround:

1. Change the regional setting to English.

2. Run a Repair of K2 (5.0001.1000.1) from the installation media on the environment.

3. Then change the Regional settings back to Hungarian.

This was identified as a known K2 issue and is under review.

Please note on K2 5.3 you will need to use the configure option in the Setup Manager instead of repair, since the repair is removed from 5.3

•K2 5.3 no longer has a Repair option in the installer. To repair your K2 installation you need to run through the Configure option instead. Run the Update option to replace files deleted from your K2 installation.
•The Setup Manager now stops the installation under the following circumstances. You must correct the issue before restarting the installation:◦.NET Core 2.1.7 must be installed
◦if an unsupported version of Windows Server is detected
◦if an unsupported version of SQL Server is detected
◦if an unsupported version of Exchange is detected.
