K2 sites will not load using Chrome or Edge

The following error is presented when attempting to load any K2 site:  "This site can't be reached.  The connection was reset"

 

Instructions

This could be related to attempting to access the K2 server remotely via SSL (https) when the IIS https binding is using the K2 Self Signed Certificate.  To resolve this issue, run the Setup Manager in Configure mode and select the http binding, or obtain a valid SSL certificate from a trusted provider and install it on the server.
