Re: Set item permission with a collection

With the following function, it works:

fn-Insert(fn-ToLower(user_CurrentInstanceAccount),0,i:0#.w|)

The Item permission can set correctly:

Re: Set item permission with a collection

so missing claim string is the reason.

it looks like people or group variable do not in fact resolve user accounts.

I'd ask once again, how do you populate/set value of variable user_varCurrentInstanceAccount?

I guess you have somewhere some set variable or similar action.

maybe fn-Trim() needs to be applied on string being populated into the variable.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I set my variable with a "Query User Profile" Properties -> Account name

Re: Set item permission with a collection

so in Query user profile, do you use as target variable that user_varCurrentInstanceAccount?

I affraid the action might return value pre-/post-fixed with a space or semicolon which then prevent to resolve user.

can you try to store it to text variable and then from text variable to person or group variable.

write text value to history log as well, to see what's exactly returned.
