Hi Team,

If “Transfer Record” permission on the profile is unchecked, Salesforce standard interface doesn’t allow the users to change the owner of records but in the Skuid interface we have found that they were able to change the owner of records. 

Please let me know if it can be resolved.

I have not tested this scenario, but maybe in mean time you find a solution, you can conditionally render that button to only profiles/users with permission to transfer record.
