Issues in lightning experience, 12.1.7 version, unable to select picklist values and checkbox on the SKUID page, fields and values are displayed but SKUID is not allowing to select the value

Hi Jaya. A few questions:


  1. What type of Lightning Experience page? (App, Detail, Home)

  2. How is Skuid included in the Lightning page? (Skuid Page Lightning component, custom Lightning component, VF page)

  3. Skuid V1 or V2?

  4. Salesforce Version (Winter '20?)

  5. Does it work in VF?

    Haven’t tried, but it’s working fine in classic mode on a different page.

Same Skuid page works in classic but doesn’t work in lightning using ‘skuid lightning page component’.

Hmm, ok. I just tested a basic “New Account” form page, latest Skuid version in Winter '20, and successfully had the ability to select both picklist values and checkboxes. May be a 12.1.7 issue that was fixed; last question for now - is it an existing record or a new record that the user is trying to enter values for?

We tested with upgrading to 12.1.8 but the issue didn’t got fixed.
Can you please test with below scenario?

Inline Edit of existing record in lightning skuid.

can someone from SKUID support respond on this, we are having a production issue and trying for fixes, workarounds.


Hello, one of out clients is also having the same issue. Can we please have an update on this? Is this under investigation?


we tried upgrading to the latest SKUID version (from 12.1.7 -> 12.2.8) yesterday in our testing environment and still facing the same issue with picklist and checkbox fields.

Hi Harry,

It was not fixed. We eventually shifted to work around of  custom ‘edit’ button which toggle the mode of field editor to ‘edit’. Since only inline edit was having this issue.

Below is the last communication from Skuid.


we do not have an ETA for when this will be fixed. Our engineers are working on this issue and will continue tracking it. We will archive the ticket in our support case tracking system, but once the fix is released, we will notify you with instructions on how to obtain the release.

I upgraded to 12.4.8 last night and the upgrade has fixed the problem for me.
