Hello!

We are planning to re-build our PRM in Experiences. I had previously used Skuid with VF pages in the classic SFDC portal, and now I am researching if Skuid would be a good option for our new PRM in Experiences.

Thanks.

Hey @rl4boomi, thanks for asking. Skuid doesn’t yet support the LWR templates. You can use any of the other Experience Cloud templates where you can use Aura components or Visualforce pages including:

  • Customer Account Portal

  • Partner Central

  • Customer Service

  • Help Center

  • Build Your Own (Aura)

Does that mean it’s something being worked on? 😉

I can confirm that the Skuid Page LWR component is being worked on.

Cool. What does a LWR allow us to do in Skuid? Better yet, what is a LWR? 😃

Lightning Web Runtime is a direction Salesforce is moving its UI Customization framework. It seeks to provide a way to create RunTimes that can both be ON the Salesforce Platform and be implemented independently. This Runtime can only expose Lightning Web Components. Skuid is currently working to facilitate deployment of a Skuid page using a Lightnign Web Component - much as we have previously let you deploy a page using a Visualforce page or a Aura Component. This is the key to LWR support.

The initial place where we are seeing them push it is with new Experience Cloud Templates. So Skuid cannot currently be used in these new EC Templates…
