I need to connect to a database in Oracle from Salesforce. And, it looks like it will need to be done over TCP. Is this possible using Skuid?

atlantabadi,

You need to setup your Oracle DB with OData access.  Then you can connect via TCP using Skuid.

Thanks,

Bill

You can also connect to Oracle through REST.

Thanks!

Thank you Bill & Amy.

This is what I have from our Oracle team.

REDACTED =

  (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = REDACTED.com)(PORT = REDACTED))

    (CONNECT_DATA =

      (SERVER = DEDICATED)

      (SERVICE_NAME = REDACTED)

    )

  )

How can I proceed?

Thanks for sharing this information. It’s useful. If you face any connection issue you may refer 192.168.100.1 IP Login Panel  guide.

Hello,

To connect your Salesforce and Oracle DB try Skyvia (Salesforce & Oracle - Integrate and Sync - Skyvia). It`s cloud-based solution for no-coding integration with broad mapping and flexible scheduling features.

I just want to give one more information, if any one want to learn about oracle, go through this link: https://mindmajix.com/oracle-ebs-training

Thanks & Regards,
