Natively within Salesforce there is a handy option to add a new record if you don’t find the one you’re looking for in a lookup/reference field.
This would be an awesome addition to Skuid, if it doesn’t already exist somewhere that I’ve overlooked.
I envision being able to launch a new modal from within the search or something along those lines here on this screen:

You can build this now if you use a template field for your lookup and have an interaction to a modal. You have to build it yourself, but this means you can totally customize the look and feel of the modal so you can add a “create new” button, filters to the table, and whatever else you’d like. Does that make sense?
