In order to work with Query from excel advanced commands you need to make sure to:

 

1. Install ODBCOLEDB Driver for AccessExcel.

 

2. The installation of MS Office (Excel) should be 64bit (the studio is 64bit as well). 32bit Office does not work and raises error.
