RPA Email Issue

My question has two parts.

  1. I’ve been working on an issue with the Send Email function since March of 2024. Tech support has me in an endless loop of try this and send the logs. It works if I run the Wizard through the Studio but only when using a copy of the Studio folder on the local Desktop not the regular installation location of the Studio. But it does not work if I run the same Wizard with the Robot using a trigger. (The Wizard runs but the emails are not received.) Any ideas what could be causing this? This is the error in the log:          {"@t":"2025-02-10T17:39:33.1116710Z","@mt":"The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.","@l":"Error","EnvironmentUserName":"MYCOMPANY\\nintex","msg":"The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.","add":{},"exc":{"Message":"The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.","Data":[],"InnerException":null,"TargetSite":"Int32 ReadCfwsAndThrowIfIncomplete(System.String, Int32)","StackTrace":"   at System.Net.Mail.MailAddressParser.ReadCfwsAndThrowIfIncomplete(String data, Int32 index)\r\n   at System.Net.Mail.MailAddressParser.ParseDomain(String data, Int32& index)\r\n   at System.Net.Mail.MailAddressParser.ParseAddress(String data, Boolean expectMultipleAddresses, Int32& index)\r\n   at System.Net.Mail.MailAddressParser.ParseAddress(String data)\r\n   at System.Net.Mail.MailAddress..ctor(String address, String displayName, Encoding displayNameEncoding)\r\n   at Kryon.Leo.Infrastructure.Client.Core.Helpers.MailSenderHelper.SendMail(MailConnectionData mailConnectionData, MailMessageData mailMessageData)","HelpLink":null,"Source":"System","HResult":-2146233033,"$type":"FormatException"},"layer":"InfrastructureLogger.LogException()","user":"nintex","MachineName":"NINTEXRPA01","ProcessId":30004,"ProcessName":"Nintex","ThreadId":26,"Application":"Player","EnvironmentName":"Production"}

  1. Any idea if Nintex is planning to continue supporting this product? Is there a newer product that they are focusing on? Is there a better RPA product I should be looking into? I’m asking this because all of the people I’ve been collaborating with over the past year regarding this system are transitioning off Nintex RPA and no longer adding to their workload. This has me concerned and I feel like I’m completely on my own when it comes to running into issues or working through challenges. I don’t want to expand the scope and it backfire when I can’t resolve an issue like the one mentioned above.

Thanks for any help.

@laur913 read your post and sorry to hear about the challenges in making this wizard work in the desired location.  Could you post your support ticket number, so that we can read thru the past dialogs and troubleshooting attempts.  And rest assure that Nintex is planning to continue supporting this product.
