Product: Kryon RPA
Product Version: 19.1.3 and below
Components: Kryon Robot; Kryon Studio; Kryon Application Server
For Kryon RPA v19.1.3 and below, Kryon Robot, Kryon Studio and Kryon Application Server write to log files. These logs are called SmartInspect logs and capture is enabled by default. This article will explain where to find these log files for support purposes.
Prerequisites: None.
Steps:

Find the Location of Kryon SmartInspect Logs
Go to: C:ProgramDataKryonLogs<username>

<username> will be the Windows user that the Kryon Robot or Studio is running under (i.e. the user that it logged into the Windows desktop with). For Kryon Application Server, <username> will either be "SYSTEM", if Kryon services are running as "Local System", or the name of the specific domain user that the services are running under. You may also see a folder named "CONSOLE" (for Kryon Console logs) and "WebAPI" (for Kryon Console WebAPI logs)

Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden by default in Windows. To access it, either configure Windows Explorer to show hidden items, or type in C:ProgramData directly into the Windows Explorer address bar.
You will find .SIL files following this naming format on client machines:
  • Kryon-edate and time stamp].sil (for Kryon Robot)
  • Kryon.Studio-rdate and time stamp].sil (for Kryon Studio)
  • Kryon.BrowserExtension.Host-wdate and time stamp].sil (for the Kryon Connector Chrome Extension)

On the server, you'll find:

  • LeoService.ecomponent]-edate and time].sil (for Kryon Application Server services)
  • ConsoleApp- (under the "Console" folder for Kryon Console)
  • ROOT-idate and time].sil (under the "WebAPI" folder for Kryon Console WebAPI)

Kryon.Admin->date and time stamp].sil (for Kryon Admin)

Info: You will not be able to open the log files as they are password protected.

Additional Kryon Console Logs

Specifically for Kryon Console, there are additional text-based logs that can be found at the following location:

C:Program FilesKryon Application ServerKryon Web Server 64bitConsolelogs

Enabling Detailed Logs

Sometimes, regular logs may not contain enough detail to diagnose an issue. Enabling detailed logs allows greater detail to be captured if requested by support teams. From Kryon Studio or Robot, click Tools Options and open the Advanced tab. Check the box to Temporarily Enable Detailed Logs. This mode will revert back to normal once Studio is closed or restarted.
